I love the Baltic Sea
The sea is threatened by the global warming, by eutrophication as well as the risky business with drilling for and shipping oil.
Lyrics & music by Thomas Eidrup as well as vocal, piano, guitar, keyboards, rain stick, alto sax, recording, mixing and producing.
Co-producer: Thomas von Kronhelm.
I love to look at the sea
this is where I wanna be.
I love the sight of a seal.
For me that feels almost unreal.
I love the old fishermen
with the boats that carry them.
When I´m leaving you I always say good bye we´ll meet again.
Baltic Sea you’re in my thoughts.
Baltic Sea you’re on my mind.
Baltic Sea you’re in my heart.
But Baltic Sea we are not too kind.
We must stop to let you down.
I love the beaches of sand
and the feeling of shells in my hand.
I love to swim in the night
in the shimmering, pale moonlight.
I love the sea and it’s sound
waves are dancing all around.
When I´m leaving you I always say good bye we´ll meet again.
Baltic Sea you’re...
We must stop to let you down. (repeated)
(Thanks for reading and listening. Take care of yourself and the seas!)
