Background: I have been a dedicated amateur musician ever since I was old enough to sit at a piano bench. Been playing piano about fifty years, saxophone almost that long, took up hand drums about twenty years ago. I've got more enthusiasm than technique, I think....but enthusiasm will get you a long way down the road....play regularly with a bunch of friends in a weekly open jam we call "Wednesday Night Prayer Meeting."
