Background: Musician and sailor Andy Vine has been singing and writing songs for more than 40 years. His composition “Woman Of Labrador” was recently published in “The Great Canadian Songbook”, a collection of 50 best-loved Canadian. Still feisty in his 60’s, Andy’s recent compositions include: “Excuse Me Your Planet Is Burning”, “The New American Century”, a tongue in cheek tribute to Canada's southern neighbours and “Duped”, a bitter take on the war in Iraq. Blessed with a strong baritone voice, Andy sings with conviction and emotion. His wife Danielle Arcand often accompanies him on vocals and percussion.
